I am pleased to inform you that the Guidance Counselors’ Circle Inc. (GCC), in cooperation with the Association of Psychological and Educational Counselors of Asia-Pacific (APECA) and Asian Psychological Services and Assessment Corporation (APSA), will be holding its 9th Annual Convention on October 12-14, 2009 at the CSB Hotel International Conference Center, Arellano Ave. cor Estrada St. Malate, Manila.

The theme for this year’s convention will be “On Becoming a 21st Century School Counselor”. Workshops will be conducted by leading counselors from different Asian countries to strengthen our understanding of counselor’s role in diverse cultural settings.

  1. I posted this item because of an interest in how guidance counseling addresses a crucial issue in the Philippines. Hope they publish the papers that will be presented/discussed in the forthcoming conference.
