Multilingual Education Trainers’ Training, April 12-May 5, 2010

Here’s a rare opportunity for MLE advocates, especially those coming from TEIs and HEIs:

  • What:  MTB-MLE TRAINERS’ TRAINING
  • Where:  Philippine Normal University, Taft Ave., Manila
  • When:  April 12 — May 5, 2010 (22 training days plus supervised field work)
  • Facilitators:  MLE Specialists from SIL-Asia, PNU and UP

Modules:

  1. MLE Theory and Practice
  2. Curriculum and Materials Development
  3. Teaching Strategies

This is a graduate level course (equivalent to 9 units)
Tuition fee:   P10,000 (inclusive of handouts)
Board and lodging – on your own (PNU dorm, YMCA, etc.)

Qualifications:

  1. College graduate
  2. A background knowledge in MTB-MLE
  3. Willing to participate in implementing MTB-MLE in at least two schools
  4. Willing to facilitate at least two 4-day MTB-MLE training program in the regions

    and they are hoping to send a few qualified teachers to the said MLE Trainers’ Training at PNU this comng April.
