  1. What seems to be neglected in the K-12 discussion is the fact that the two additional years at the end of high school are not going to happen until four years from now. The changes in the present 10-year system will occur first. These changes are significant: short class hours in elementary, no science in K-2, three languages in K-3 with the mother tongue as medium of instruction, spiral curriculum in math and science, and discovery-based learning. Much of the arguments I have senn from both sides dwell only in the two years of senior high school. The idea of increasing years of basic education may have been with us since 1925, but the changes that will actually occur and affect the educational system in the next four years are not and have not been examined and the citizens may not even be aware of some of these new elements.

  2. Kindergarten teachers are still wondering if they will regularized this year or still they are going to received the 3,000 honorarium (to be received by teachers very late).

  3. can somebody answer my question? what if you are already permanent preschool teacher but then your units of ecd is only 9 units.. is there a possibility that you will be kicked out from the service?

  4. This is the second year of the K 12 implementation but until now i have not received the copy of Third and Fourth Grading Module in Araling Panlipunan (Grade 7). Where can i possible get it?

    • @Mel: If you google “Araling Panlipunan grade 7 modules” you get several options where you can download the modules for all quarters. I recommend you make it a habit to google anything you’re looking for before you ask for help. In this day and age, if you’ve taken the time to master the different techniques of Internet searching, very rarely will you hit a blank wall or dead end.
